Since the Yerman Friends of Children 5K Run & Walk benefits Children it’s only fitting that if be a fun-filled event for families. It’s a great place to bring the kids for a brisk or leisurley morning walk. And if you think the little ones can’t make it the whole way, the Hogtowne Creek Greenway provides a shaded, scenic shortcut. 

After the run/walk enjoy live music, refreshments, and family fun at Westside Park. There will be an awards ceremoney and plenty for kids to do – like games, art easels, face painting, clowns and balloon animals. The Chick-fil-A Cows will be on hand getting into who-knows-what kind of mischief, including challenging young walkers to contests and races.
